
Despite all the Super Bowl bull shit (and boy it was thick enough this year to choke a Billy goat), I still like to watch the game. I rarely, however, have the satisfaction of pulling for the winning Super Bowl team; this year was different. Kane and I both enjoyed seeing the Steelers lose.
For two reasons:

Pete Tinsley was my great uncle (on mom's side; #21 in the photo)

Quite an athletic family, his brother Sid played pro football as well (for the Steelers no less - http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/T/TinsSi20.htm) and his other brother - my grandfather - was a pro golfer.
I think Uncle Pete would have been proud of his Packers on Sunday.
